What is Tiktok Shipping?

The TikTok Shop provides sellers with the option to select from various shipping companies, such as USPS, FedEx, and DHL. Sellers can determine shipping rates based on the weight of the items being shipped and the destination they need to reach.

TikTok offers two different shipping methods: "Ship by Seller" allows sellers to personally manage packing and shipping, while "Ship by TikTok" involves a facilitated process that follows specific timelines for order handling and carrier collection. Set up Warehouse and Pickup Address

To ensure accurate warehouse/pickup address maintenance, please follow these steps:

  1. Access your TikTok Shop Seller Center.
  2. Navigate to My Account > Seller Profile, which will redirect you to the Seller Profile Page.
  3. On the Seller Profile Page, locate and click on the Warehouse/Pickup Address option.
  4. Proceed to set up your preferred pickup warehouse and return warehouse address.
  5. Once you have entered the desired addresses, remember to click on the Save button to save your changes.

Note: TikTok Shop automatically designate TikTok Shipping as the default choice when you create an account. You have the option to establish a single warehouse for your account, or you can enable multi-warehouse mode and select a preferred default warehouse.

Set up Shipping Options

Here are the steps to access the Shipping Options page in your TikTok Shop Seller Center:

  1. Navigate to your TikTok Shop Seller Center.
  2. Click on the "Shipping" tab, then select "Shipping Options."

Note: If an order exceeds the maximum weight limit for Seller Shipping, it will automatically switch to "Seller Shipping." If no shipping option is selected by the customer, they will be given the opportunity to choose their preferred method during the ordering process.

Option 1: Tiktok Shipping

To speed up shipping, choose Express Shipping, Standard Shipping, or both. Each option includes details about the service provider. Ensure your product weights are within the specified range, especially for combined packages to the same recipient.

Here are the steps to set up your shipping preferences:

  1. Go to Seller Center, navigate to Shipping Options under the Shipping menu.
  2. Select TikTok Shipping and click "Preferred" to activate 4PL.
  3. Choose the relevant carriers and service levels.
  4. Read and sign the agreement with the shipping provider.
  5. Finish configuring your shipping services.
  6. Return to the Shipping Setting page to review your changes.

How to use UPS 4PL shipping for only one specific warehouse?

Note: Once enabled, any new orders that are placed will show "UPS" on the Seller Center manage orders page.

How to combine multiple orders going to the same customer?

  1. Click "combine shipments" before generating the shipping label.
  2. When the Seller clicks "Arrange Shipment" to generate the UPS shipping label, it will look like this: Shipping Label + Packing List

Note: Once you generate the shipping label, the UPS Tracking number will be automatically uploaded into the associated order. Seller just needs to print the label, package and fulfill the order.

Option 2: Seller Shipping

You have the option to use your own shipping provider through the Seller Shipping feature. In contrast to TikTok Shipping, there is only one choice available. If you set "Seller Shipping" as the preferred logistics service , you need to complete the shipping fees template before uploading products, otherwise, there will be a reminder when uploading the product.

How to set Shipping Template?

Please follow these steps:

  1. To access the Shipping Template Page in your TikTok Shop Seller Center, navigate to the Shipping section and click on "Shipping Template." Another way to find the template is by visiting the Shipping Options page.

  2. Once you're on the Shipping Template Page, select "Create New Template" to begin creating a new template. Alternatively, you can make modifications to existing templates by choosing the "No, I want to copy the content from" option.

  3. Fill in the necessary fields within the template:

    • Template name: You can customize this according to your preference.
    • Shipping from: This field displays your warehouse location and cannot be edited. Sellers now have the option to select one or multiple locations from a dropdown list as their "ship from" location.
    • Shipping to: All states are grouped into five regions. Unselected states will be highlighted to ensure attention is drawn and minimize the chances of accidentally excluding any state.
    • Delivery areas: Sellers can establish different shipping rates for various states.
    • Shipping services: Sellers can assign different shipping services based on performance and price, such as Standard or Express.
    • Shipping rules: Sellers can choose a pricing model that includes different prices for specific ranges.
    • Unassigned Areas: Products will not be deliverable within unassigned areas.
  4. After you have finished setting up your shipping template, please click on the "Submit" button to save and apply your changes.
